Everybody this is Mike with trade my gun hey we've got our first used Luxe Idol that we have up on our website priced at 1,600 today what I'm going to do is I'm going to just give you a little background on um our experience what
we're hearing from customers related to the Luxe idle and we're also going to show a physical comparison of the idle
with the tm40 and the Luxe and later in the video we're going to do a shooting comparison uh between uh the different markers so stick with us and and you'll see everything in the full video uh that we'll have out on YouTube um but for the uh first thing I want to do is just show you the Luxe idle um you know super clean gun on of course it's got the screen
there's a lot of talk about this screen I'll go ahead and turn it on I actually like the uh the button too how it's reset experience level 8% still talks to you it's got a nice screen with it um yeah so I mean they've done lots of redesigns on it I'm going to just show you a couple of big things real quick okay so first off ASA the ASA goes the knob goes all the way up it works really well if you remember on the tm40 it's had it on the table it might reactivate or something like that this one they they've kind of readjusted it so it flips all the way up super cool now grips you notice there's no screws you know like we've got here so what you do do I'm going to go ahead and turn it off all you do is you grab this bottom piece it's a back cap pull it off and boom there's your access to your charging port it's got a little magnet that helps kind of keep it together you got your idle and then the serial number and then you can release the battery if you want to change batteries or if you got a fast charger or something like that uh and then the grips just simply pull off it's super
simple now one thing I want to warn you guys on is don't be touching on the screen okay um we've sold maybe nine or
10 of these things we've had um three known cases where we've had screens that were bad okay now Lux is taking care of it they're working on a fix um they've got new grips coming out and in the interum if you do get one that happens to have a line across the screen or or something like that they can fix it all right um but I just want to let you know that's what we're seeing you know 30% of what we've sold we've had this issue so you know not saying it's not a good gun we're just telling you out of the gate we do have some issues that are being addressed Luxe is great company they are going to take care of it it'll get fixed and hopefully you never have it but one thing that you can do to help with the situation is just don't mess with the screen you know there's no reason to so reality is you don't even
have to take the grips off unless you're cleaning it so just when you're when you're when you you are dealing with it
just pay attention don't press on the screen or anything like that okay so that's that's some of the see how easy
that snap back on super super simple now um it's got a new bolt design um little more Air efficiency it's better on
brittle paint um which the tm40 was great to begin with but this is getting great reviews out on the field uh I know ML King shoots the idol they love the guns and um you know just you know can't say getting some great feedback now let's talk about ergonomics a little bit listen the Lux really hasn't change they are I mean look at this I'm going
to put these on top of each other you know if you like the way the Luxe tm40 feels you're going to like how the
Luxe idle Fields all right it's pretty much the same now the grip material is a little different some feedback that we
are getting also is the grips may be a little slippery but eh I don't think so it feels tacky to me but feel you know
when you hang on to it um you know just there is a little met more metal back here also so it does fit a little
different in your hand one thing they did do is they added some nice ribs in here in the for grip now I hang on to
the gun like this so it really doesn't matter but if you do hang on to the grip like this that's going to be a nice
little extra support for you so that's a really cool feature um before I go completely off the ergonomics I want to
show you the Luxe X now this has got the drop the Extender on it so kind of ignore that but the actual frame of the
gun yeah I mean they're they're pretty close to the same I mean the trigger frame changes slightly the angles um but
how it fits in your hand how this sucker how the Luxe fit in your hand how the tm40 fits in your hand and how the idle
fits in your hand you can smoothly move from one gun to another and it's like you're shooting that old gun that you've always had now um park I think with this case before you know you'd open up the Luxe cases and you always seem to have barrels falling out and parts and grease and tools and all that look what they've done they've made this nice they've made nice little bungee straps pulled it in the marker fits in this end okay so this pulls out and then you can put your your marker without the barrel on it down in here and seal it up slide it back in there nothing's getting scratched
nothing will get wet and then in here you've got all of your extras and by the way this is all adjustable so if it
slips out you just you know you can tighten it up if it comes apart it's awesome I love I love the case this is
fabulous um like I say I like to tell you reality you know of what we're hearing most things are really really
good couple things it's like man um I wish they would have made the change right and they didn't so one thing that
drives me crazy you know how many barrels I put on luxes in my lifetime I can't even tell you every year all the gun events we go to putting barrels on and off putting them on the wall I hate the thread I know a lot of people like
it just for me I don't like it you know the conquer thread I wish they would have done with this like they did when
they re introduced The Shocker and they went to the autococker um it works a little bit better but look this gun's
Barely Used I've already got the O-ring getting chewed up you know you try to screw it in and it it it's better than
it was okay the O-ring that used to be inside that inside bore in the tm40 is gone so that helps it slide in a little
better but man I just I just wish they'd go to Cocker you know come on let's move on let's stop doing this madness of all this variety and variation that we all have to deal with but check check this out awesome Barrel you know they
redesigned the back it's a 14in exact same as as the tm40 as far as the length takes an insert but check this out these
fit really tight by the way check this out comes with two BS large boar small board um pretty much what I'm hearing is
why wouldn't you just put the size on it you know supposedly this is like an 81 and an 87 but my gosh you know put a
size on it so we know what we're dealing with I think that's what customers are telling me why why don't we have sizes
on this and I kind of agree you know but hey reality is lots of great improvements um the gun shoots amazing
